What initially drew you to photography? How did you learn the ropes?
When I was 13 I was drawn to technology —I would always code and learn how to do HTML. One day I became very curious about photography. My family supported my curiosity and bought me my first camera for Christmas. I considered it a hobby while moving into high school. At the time I wanted to be a psychologist because I loved helping people love themselves. Once I discovered that I could do that through my photos, I decided to become a photographer.
How do you find your models? What do you look for in a location?
I find my models mainly through instagram. I always find them through a friend of a friend or sleepless nights scrolling on instagram. I typically choose models based on if I think they fit my vision for that photoshoot. For locations I create a moodboard and try to find a location that fits the whole vibe the best.
How would you describe your photography style? What’s your favorite thing to shoot?
I like to think my photography is very girly and feminine. I love vintage girly vibes. My favorite thing to shoot is fashion!
What advice would you give to aspiring photographers wanting to make photography full time?
I would tell them to follow their dreams and to never give up. Photography is not easy and is something you have to be willing to work hard towards.
