What was the genesis for Street Dreams?
The genesis of STREET DREAMS was to create an open platform for creatives to share their work with a broader audience through utilizing the print medium. The foundation we built with the publication allowed us to develop our company into a media agency that now connects creators with job opportunities.
What does community to mean to you? How does space fit into this narrative?
Everything we do is centered around creating spaces where we can connect with our audience & community in real life. When it comes to Peerspace, this platform serves as the perfect medium for us to constantly find spaces + places that become our blank canvas for bringing people together.
With such a diverse set of creatives featured, is there a common thread that ties the photographers together?
Art is truly the common thread that ties everything together. We focus on curating a collection of diverse imagery that balances subject matter & compositional elements that end up creating one cohesive narrative. For us, each edition is a chapter in a continuous story, rather than separate magazines.
What does STREET DREAMS stand for? Where do you see the brand evolving a year from now?
Our brand is constantly evolving & we haven’t even scratched the surface on the full potential behind STREET DREAMS. At its core, we represent the dreamers. Over the next year, we’ll be developing/expanding our media model & continue to create avenues for creatives everywhere to share their shine.
